Before SUPERSTAR agents Cynthia Harper and Natalie Ward took over my stale listing of a brand new construction houseboat I had built with a well known architect that was mysteriously not selling, I had almost given up hope. It had been on the Market for 8 months without a single bite and my original agent's only advice was to keep dropping the price & he told me every excuse as to why it wasn't selling & I was at my breaking point. Lucky for me a friend referred me to Cynthia and Natalie & insisted I reach out to them. What a miracle for me they turned out to be! The minute I met Cynthia and Natalie it felt like I was in the hands of a "dream team". Not only did they sparkle with energy, enthusiasm and excitement they rolled up their sleeves literally and dove in. First scrubbing the houseboat down personally while zipping around the property tweaking and energizing and strategizing to maximize the first impressions. They knew right away that marketing a houseboat was about lifestyle not about listing appliances. After two incredible photo sessions, they then master minded a video with the best company in town and Cynthia wrote a script. They hired actors and the next thing you knew we had a first class video selling the glamour of the houseboat lifestyle complete with a champagne tasting on the roof with Veuve Cliquot. They marketed the home locally and internationally and immediately had a flurry of activity. Where my original Broker found faults and excuses, they found charm and history. They really sold the "story" of how incredible the lifestyle on a Seattle Houseboat was. Their Broker Open even involved renting a fun Electric Boat and taking agents on a boat ride around Lake Union. Their open houses were well attended (and fun) and everyone who came to them wanted to live that lifestyle. They made friends with all of the neighbors and through out the stressful process helped me in any way possible, most of all keeping my spirits up during a financially stressful time. When the offer came in a short couple weeks later (after 8 months of nothing from first Broker) they worked long hours negotiating all the challenges that come with being a part of a Co-op dock and with their incredible people skills, were able to negotiate the tricky waters that would have slayed a lesser agent. There were many a late night email, and up until the final hour before closing they were on the case not missing a single detail or escrow challenge. Not stopping there they reached out to the Buyers as well making sure that their first night in their new home was memorable, stocking the fridge with cheeses and wines and bubbles and charcuterie. There is nothing that Cynthia and Natalie do that isn’t FIRST CLASS. Not only are they literally the best agents in town but they also became friends. They genuinely care about their clients and their happiness. They are pros though and through, wise, and experienced. There were many moments where they proved over and over again that experience matters. They did not drop the price (they even boldly listed it slightly higher than my original Broker had last dropped the price to) but instead sold it with First Class innovative marketing and hard work. They are strategists that know how to balance optimism and reality but most of all they really care about their clients. I knew that when we found our perfect buyer (a couple that saw their awesome video & flew all the way up from Texas to see the home) they were as happy as I was. People that watched my process from the sidelines told me that when they sell they will ask Cynthia and Natalie to be their agents. I have given their name out countless times already from people who have asked for it. Moral of the story? If you want to sell your home, Cynthia and Natalie will sell it for you quickly! And they make it fun! I said from the very get go that they gave me my life back even before we sold. Their caring is genuine and from watching them in action I see now that being a real estate agent goes way beyond listing online and hanging a sign. The saying “I love my agent” must have originated with people working with Cynthia and Natalie!
